ABOUT US
Arise Women and Development Organization (ARISE) is a women-led, women founded national humanitarian, peace and development organization supporting women to develop and become better persons in South Sudan. Arise is legally registered with the South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) under Chapter 3, section 10 of NGOs Act 2016 with the sole aim to addressing the needs of women in the community.

ARISE believes everyone plays a key role in ending extreme poverty.
But in South Sudan we are already faced by unending conflict and climate change.
Despite all these challenges, we are committed to our mission of creating an environment and resources that nurtures women, girls, and their families out of extreme poverty and improve their well-being and resilience.
