About Us

Arise Women and Development Organization (ARISE) is a women-led, women founded national humanitarian, peace and development organization supporting women to develop and become better persons in South Sudan. Arise is legally registered with the South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) under Chapter 3, section 10 of NGOs Act 2016 with the sole aim to addressing the needs of women in the community 
ARISE play significant role in alleviating poverty especially among vulnerable women, girls, the elderly, IDPs and persons with disabilities through community awareness and advocacy, community empowerment, SRHR/GBV, food security and livelihoods, etc activities especially among the vulnerable South Sudanese women and girls. We believe in bringing sustainable changes at individual, household and communities’ levels.
